Team pages

The Spring Valley High football team needed a quarter to find its rhythm Thursday night in a 68-0 victory against host Western.

The game was scoreless after the first quarter.

“It was a collective effort,” Spring Valley coach Marcus Teal said. “We did our job. Things went well for us.”

Austyn Wallace and Ed Sutton each had a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Grizzlies (2-1), while Nick Santos scored on a kick return and a run. Quarterback Jordan Cox added a touchdown.
