Metro Police released surveillance video images today of two men accused of stealing prescription drugs from a northeast valley pharmacy last week.

Police said the armed robbery occurred at 3:30 a.m. March 31 at a pharmacy near Lamb Boulevard and Bonanza Road. Authorities didn't identify the business.

While one man served as a lookout, the other man entered the store and handed a piece of paper to the pharmacist, authorities said.

The man inside then took a handgun from his pocket, pointed it at the clerk and jumped the counter while demanding drugs such as Oxycontin and Xanax, police said.

He fled with the lookout man after he took multiple medications from the pharmacy, police said.

Authorities described one man as a 45- to 55-year-old white man, about 5-feet-9-inches to 6-feet tall and weighing 180 to 190 pounds. He had gray hair and was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket, blue jeans and black. He carried a gun.

The lookout man was described as black, 40 to 50 years old, 5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall and 175 to 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan hat with UNLV written on it, a brown jacket and blue jeans.
