Drivers urged to avoid stretch of Tenaya Drive

Motorists in the northwest valley may want to avoid Tenaya Drive near Ann Road and U.S. 95 this week.

City crews will be making repairs to Tenaya Drive between Ann Road and Sky Pointe Drive, where a portion of the roadway has settled.

Officials said the work, expected to begin Sunday morning and continue until Friday, will require closing one southbound lane.

Alternate routes in the area are limited, but officials suggested motorists use Rainbow Boulevard when possible.
