Police: 2 men crash stolen truck into house in eastern valley

Metro Police are searching for two men who drove a stolen truck into the side of a house in the eastern valley, then fled the scene, officials said.

Metro spokeswoman Barbara Morgan said the incident happened at 7:07 a.m. at 200 Page St., near Stewart Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.

A tan GMC Sierra truck that was reported stolen about a week ago crashed into the house, she said. No one in the home was injured.

Police said two men in the truck at the time were last seen fleeing south.

Metro's traffic unit is investigating whether the crash was an accident or intentional act, Morgan said.
