Phoenix Police are seeking more information about a man arrested in connection with child pornography charges who had traveled to Las Vegas.

Officials said the Phoenix Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force last month began investigating after a man was found to be trading images and videos of young children being sexually abused.

The investigation led to a search warrant executed on the suspect's home and the arrest of 56-year-old Ronald Gene Fritz, an unemployed registered sex offender, Phoenix Police said.

Fritz allegedly admitted to the crimes of sexual exploitation of a minor and failure to register as a sex offender, officials said. During the search of his home, police found images of unidentified children.

Because Fritz traveled to Las Vegas, Florida and Brazil, Phoenix Police want anyone with additional information in those places to contact them at (602) 650-3313.
