Officials hope a Metro Police cruiser will be filled to the brim with non-perishable food items for needy people and their furry friends by Friday afternoon.
Metro's Convention Center Area Command is teaming up with Three Square Food Bank and The Shade Tree's Noah's Animal House to sponsor a "cram-a-cruiser" food drive.
All food donations will go to needy men, women, children and their pets living in the Las Vegas Valley. Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Convention Center Area Command, 750 Sierra Vista Drive in Las Vegas.
