Four new Las Vegas Justice Court judges will be sworn in this afternoon.
Justices of the Peace Janiece Marshall, William “Bill” Kephart, Suzan Baucum and Conrad Hafen, who were elected last fall, will be formally sworn into office during an investiture ceremony at 2 p.m. today at the Cashman Center Theater, 850 Las Vegas Blvd.
The judges will take a ceremonial oath of office and will receive their judicial robes. They have already taken the bench and have been handling cases since Jan. 3.
Members of the Nevada Judiciary, including the U.S. District Court for Nevada, Nevada Supreme Court, the Las Vegas Township Justice Court and the Eighth Judicial District Court, will attend the ceremony.
The Clark County Courts consist of the Eighth Judicial District Court and the Las Vegas Township Justice Court.
