A 16-year-old North Las Vegas girl with a serious medical condition missing since Saturday was located tonight after contacting a family member, police said.

She had been staying with friends, authorities said.

Kelly Marie Harms, who left her home in the 3300 block of East Rome Boulevard about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, was found about 8:15 p.m. after telling family she was at Sunrise Mountain High School, 2575 Los Feliz St., authorities said.

She was transported to University Medical Center, where she was being treated for a life-threatening medical condition, police said. She is in good condition and has been reunited with family, police said.

Friends with whom the teen had been staying pressured her to come forward after seeing news coverage about her disappearance, police said.
