Firefighters investigating Henderson house fire

Residential fire

The Henderson Fire Department is investigating a blaze that caused about $150,000 in damage Sunday afternoon to a Henderson home.

Firefighters said no one was injured in extinguishing the fire and no one was at home when the fire started. The fire was discovered by a neighbor who immediately called 911, firefighters said.

Firefighters said they arrived in about five minutes, shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday, at the residence at 15 Pheasant Ridge Dr., which is near the intersection of Warm Springs Road and La Mesa Drive in Henderson.

When the first fire department unit arrived, they found fire showing from a single window on the second floor and heavy smoke coming from the attic vents.
