Court refuses rehearing in case of damaged plane

CARSON CITY — The Nevada Supreme Court has refused to re-hear the claim of a man who says his twin-engine Cessna was damaged at McCarran International Airport.

The court in November upheld the ruling of District Court Judge Elizabeth Walsh, who granted a summary judgment in favor of Signature Flight. In today's decision, the court said it had reconsidered its original ruling.

Bradley Schuck claimed he parked his plane at Signature Flight Support of Nevada and then discovered it suffered engine and rudder damages and was missing a dipstick.

In its November ruling, the court said there was no competent proof to establish that the plane’s engine was damaged while parked there.
