Fewer than 1,500 tickets remain for the UNLV basketball team’s Saturday game against No. 6 San Diego State at the 18,500-seat capacity Thomas & Mack Center, according to university officials. Game time is 5 p.m.
The remaining tickets are in the balcony section, being sold from $12 to $18 in advance. There is a small price increase for tickets purchased on game day.
UNLV hasn’t had a sellout this season, but officials anticipate this could be the first. The BYU game in early January had an attendance of 17,942.
Last year, two games were sold out — against BYU and New Mexico.
UNLV lost its first game to San Diego State (24-1) this season, falling 55-49 on Jan. 8.
