A Metro Police officer was treated for minor injuries Friday after he slid off his motorcycle in the southern valley.
The officer was riding near the intersection of Jones and Robindale boulevards about 1:30 p.m. when another vehicle cut in front of him, police said. The officer slid and went down to avoid an accident, police said.
The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to University Medical Center. The driver of the other vehicle stopped to help the officer.
No citations were given, police said.
