A man was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition after a rollover crash Saturday morning on Summerlin Parkway, authorities said.
The one-vehicle accident occurred about 4:30 a.m. on westbound Summerlin Parkway just east of Town Center Drive, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Fackrell said. Authorities said the man was fighting for his life at University Medical Center.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, Fackrell said.
Traffic was temporarily diverted from westbound Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive and Rampart Boulevard, but the highway has since reopened.
The highway patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. The man's name wasn't available Saturday morning.
