Metro Police released surveillance video images today of a man who they say lunged over the counter at a sandwich shop and demanded money at knifepoint.
Police said a man entered the shop at 9 p.m. Jan. 18 near Tropicana and Eastern avenues, then ordered a sandwich. After placing his order, police said he pulled a knife and lunged over the counter, threatening employees.
Officials said the man ran from the area after getting money from the cash register.
Authorities described him as about 6-feet tall and 225 pounds with a pronounced mustache. He was wearing a white baseball cap and gray, hooded jacket.
