U.S. Sen. John Ensign has scheduled town hall meetings in Henderson and Summerlin next week.
Ensign will be at Starbright Theatre in Summerlin, 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd., at 1 p.m. Tuesday. He'll then host a meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sun City MacDonald Ranch, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, in Henderson.
He plans to discuss the fiscal and economic crisis "that threatens the future of our country," his office said in a news release. The meetings are open to the public, and those interested are encouraged to ask questions and share their solutions.
Ensign, Nevada's incumbent Republican senator, was first elected in 2001.
