Sewer project to restrict Decatur Boulevard traffic for month

Sewer project

A sewer project will restrict traffic on Decatur Boulevard for nearly a month, the Clark County Water Reclamation District said.

During the project, southbound Decatur Boulevard will be reduced to one lane near Sirius Avenue and Palmyra Avenue. All three lanes of northbound Decatur will remain open, but the left turn lane to Palmyra Avenue will be restricted.

The project is scheduled to begin Tuesday and continue until at least March 15, officials said. Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

The closure is required for a sewer rehabilitation project, but sewer service will not be interrupted for residents of the area, officials said.
