Coroner identifies woman who suffered medical problem on ATV

A 68-year-old Las Vegas woman who died Monday after suffering a medical episode while off-roading on an all-terrain vehicle in the desert has been identified as Sharon Cochran, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Police said Cochran was off-roading with her son near Las Vegas Boulevard and Apex Drive in the desert north of Nellis Air Force Base. Officials said she stopped the ATV, and when her son went to check on her, she collapsed and fell off the ATV.

Police said her son tried to give her CPR, but she was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency officials. The coroner has not determined her cause or manner of death.
