Man, 30, dies in one-car crash this morning on U.S. 95

A 30-year-old man died in a single-vehicle accident shortly after midnight today on U.S. 95 northwest of the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada Highway Patrol troopers said.

Officials said a maroon Chevrolet Blazer was traveling north on U.S. 95 near mile marker 100, about eight miles north of Durango Drive, when it left the roadway and overturned.

The man driving the Blazer was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. No passengers were in the vehicle.

Troopers haven't determined what caused the Blazer to leave the highway. The accident remains under investigation.

The Clark County Coroner's Office will identify the man and determine his cause and manner of death pending notification of family.
