Metro Police released surveillance video images today of two men who authorities say scouted a bar in the western valley last week before robbing it minutes later.

Police said the first man entered the bar near Westcliff and Durango drives at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, looked around and said he was meeting someone.

He left a short time later, at which point another man entered the bar, pulled a scarf over his nose and demanded money at gunpoint, police said.

Officials said the man fled in a 1995-2000 pearl white Cadillac after the bartender handed over money. The car had chrome rims and gold exhaust tips.

Authorities described the first man as black, about 25 years old, and 5-feet-6-inches tall with a thin build, shoulder-length, braided hair, a goatee and brown eyes. He was wearing a black jacket with a black, hooded sweatshirt underneath.

The second man was described as Asian, about 25 years old, 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, officials said. He was wearing a black jacket, black cap and scarf over his face.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Metro's robbery section at (702) 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
