Metro Police are asking for help from the public to identify a man who robbed multiple businesses Saturday.

A man in his 50s or 60s robbed a business in the 5000 block of Charleston Boulevard, which is near Decatur Boulevard, police said. The same man is also believed to be responsible for robbing a business in the 9000 block of Flamingo Road.

At both locations, the man was armed when he entered the business and confronted an employee, demanding money from the cash registers, police said. Both times the employee complied with the man’s demands and the suspect received an undisclosed amount of money.

In the Flamingo Road robbery, the man was seen leaving the area in the passenger seat of a white pickup truck from the 1970s.

The man was described as white, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, police said.

Photos provided by police from surveillance videos at both businesses show the suspect wearing a dark sweatshirt or jacket and a baseball cap. The man also has a white beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro’s Robbery Section at (702) 828-3891, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
