Henderson firefighters extinguished a minivan fire Sunday afternoon that caused extensive damage to the vehicle parked in a driveway, officials said.
Fire officials said the fire gutted the minivan, causing $15,000 damage. Crews, however, prevented the fire from spreading to the home in the 400 block of Sebastian Avenue, near Horizon Drive and Greenway Road.
Firefighters brought the vehicle blaze under control in 10 minutes. No one was injured.
Fire investigators determined the fire was an accident. It caused damaged to the garage door and eaves over the garage, officials said.
