For those kicking around ideas for youth recreation, the Lil’ Kickers soccer program at Las Vegas Indoor Soccer near Summerlin is hosting a pair of open houses on Friday and Sunday.
Those interested are invited to come out a 4 p.m. Friday or 11:30 a.m. Sunday to give Lil’ Kickers a try for free. The program is a "non-competitive, introductory soccer and movements skills program...developed by soccer professionals working alongside child development experts," according to a news release. Lil’ Kickers is geared to children 18 months to 9 years old.
Classes "promote active, social and non-competitive play while fostering positive self-esteem and accomplishment," the release said.
Levels include Bunnies (18-24 months), Thumpers (2-3 years), Cottontails (18-35 months), Hoppers (3-4 years), Jackrabbits (3-4 years), Big Feet (5-6 years) and Micro Classes (4-9 years).
