Workshop planned for homeowners struggling with mortgages

A third workshop is planned in Las Vegas in the coming days to help homeowners facing foreclosure or struggling to pay their mortgages.

Citigroup says it’s having an event Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. at Consumer Credit Counseling Service, 2650 South Jones Blvd.

Called the Citi Road To Recovery Las Vegas Homeowner Assistance Series, the event includes CitiMortgage client assistance representatives who will consult one-on-one with homeowners.

Homeowners whose loans are serviced by other mortgage companies will be able to consult with Consumer Credit Counseling Service foreclosure prevention counselors.
