Police investigate shooting
Metro Police said a woman allegedly fatally shot her boyfriend Monday morning at an eastern valley residence.
Metro spokesman Jay Rivera said officers responded about 10 a.m. to a residence in the 4400 block of Karen Avenue, near Sahara Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.
Arriving officers found a male with apparent gunshot wounds, Rivera said. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died a short time later, police said.
Police have taken the girlfriend into custody, Rivera said. Metro’s homicide section is at the scene investigating.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim pending notification of his family.
