Firefighters douse small roof blaze at Mexican restaurant

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to call shortly before 10 p.m. of a roof fire at a restaurant near Charleston Boulevard and Eastern Avenue.

Fire crews contained a small electrical fire on the roof at the Tierra Caliente Mexican Restaurant, 2021 E. Charleston Blvd., fire department officials said.

There was no damage to the building’s interior and no injuries were reported, officials said. The restaurant was not open at the time, officials said.
