Shooting scene
Metro Police are investigating an early morning shooting that injured four people.
Police were call just after 4 a.m. to the 400 block of East Twain Avenue near Paradise Road. A caller reported hearing several shots fired near Siegel Suites, said Jose Hernandez, a Metro spokesman.
An unknown suspect stepped out of a vehicle and fired what appeared to be handgun, striking three women and one man. The victims were transported to Sunrise Hospital to be treated for injuries that were not life-threatening. Three of the victims have since been released.
The suspect, identified as dark-skinned and wearing dark clothing, fled the scene in a dark vehicle.
It is unknown if the incident was gang-related but gang crimes detectives are making great progress, Metro Police said.
Twain Avenue has since been reopened after a brief closure after the shooting.
