An early morning shooting in the northeast valley sent one person to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, Metro Police Lt. William Scott said.
At about 1 a.m., a 23-year-old victim was shot five times at the Terrace Apartments at 3975 N. Nellis Blvd., near North Las Vegas Boulevard, Scott said. The victim was taken to University Medical Center. Police did not have information on the victim’s condition.
The shooting is under investigation by the Metro Police Gang Crimes Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the unit at (702) 828-3309 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
