There was no shortage of goals Saturday night at The Orleans Arena as the Las Vegas Wranglers and Stockton Thunder closed out their two-game set with the Thunder taking a 5-4 victory back to California.

The Thunder jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the first period behind goals by Tony Rajala and Harrison Reed.

Josh Lunden cut the lead in half with a goal near the end of the first period.

Las Vegas' Judd Blackwater leveled the game in the second half, but the tie lasted just 36 seconds as Phil Mangan reclaimed the lead for the Thunder.

Luckily for Las Vegas, Adam Hughesman scored a goal for another tie, setting up the thrilling final period.

Stockton grabbed the lead again off of a Matt Bergland goal, but the Wranglers knotted up the score again 26 seconds later when Charlie Cook found the back of the net.

Stockton's Cameron Brodie scored the game-winning goal with 15 seconds left. It was Las Vegas' first loss of the season (2-1).

Las Vegas returns to the ice Oct. 26 when it hosts the Bakersfield Condors for a two-game set.
