The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the 64-year-old woman whose bedroom caught fire Thursday night.
Las Vegas resident Bertha Castro Pichardo was found unconscious and fully clothed in her bathtub when firefighters arrived to put out a fire in her bedroom at 704 Wilson Ave.
Firefighters removed Pichardo from the home and put out the flames in less than one minute, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski.
Pichardo was transported to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The cause and manner of her death are still pending.
