Police seek help identifying attempted robbery suspects

Metro Police are asking the public's help in identifying three suspects, including this one, in an Aug. 24 attempted robbery at a business near Decatur Boulevard and Interstate 15.

Metro Police are asking the public for help identifying three suspects who attempted to rob a northern valley business on Aug. 24.

About 9 p.m. that day, three people entered a business in the area of Decatur Boulevard and Interstate 15, police said.

They attempted to grab an employee at gunpoint and demanded to be taken to the safe, police said. The employee yelled, causing the suspects to flee without taking anything, the release said.

The first suspect is black and possibly female, 18 to 24 years old, 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 to 145 pounds and was wearing a black ball cap and a black button-up shirt.

The second suspect, who was carrying a gun, is a black male, about 18 to 24 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a red and white ball cap and a blue button-up shirt.

The third suspect is a black male, 18 to 24 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a white ball cap and a gray-hooded sweatshirt.
