A woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a pickup truck while crossing Boulder Highway outside of a crosswalk, Metro Police officials said.
The collision occurred about 7:45 p.m. on Boulder Highway near Twain Avenue. Police said the woman crossed the street about 200 feet south of the crosswalk when the truck hit her.
The woman was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where doctors don’t believe she will survive, police said.
Metro Police Fatal is investigating the collision, but early evidence indicates that it was pedestrian error, police said.
