Metro Police process the crime scene outside the Greyhound bus terminal following a shooting in downtown Las Vegas Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013.

Shooting

A gunman opened fire on a group of security guards in and around a Greyhound bus station near the Fremont Street Experience this evening, Metro Police said.

Lt. John Liberty said the man began shooting about 6:40 p.m. at the bus stop in the 200 block of Main Street, about a block from bustling Fremont Street. No one was hurt.

The shooter was arrested without incident, though police have not yet identified him or specified what charges he will face.

"There's a wide variety of charges we could end up prosecuting him for," Liberty said. "We don't know yet — (investigators) are still interviewing him to determine why he was firing shots."
