Randall Cunningham II completed 5 of 5 passes today for 140 yards and two touchdowns for the Bishop Gorman High football team, helping the Gaels top host Desert Oasis 69-7 to complete their seventh straight undefeated Southwest League season.

Next week, four-time defending state champion Gorman starts its title defense by hosting Spring Valley in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals.

“I am really happy with where we are at,” Gorman coach Tony Sanchez said. “Our passing game is coming along. Randall has made some huge strides. He is really comfortable out there. Right where we want him to be.”

Junior tight end Alize Jones scored a pair of touchdowns — a scoring reception and on a kick return. Freshman tailback Alex Perry also rushed for two touchdowns.

Daniel Stewrt and Danny Hong added touchdown runs for Gorman, and defensive back Jabari Butler had an interception.
