Calvin Beaulieu rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on six carries, and added a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for the Palo Verde football team in a 54-0 win against host Sierra Vista.
It was the second consecutive shutout for the Panthers (6-1).
“Defensively, I’m pleased with how they are playing aggressive and doing their job,” Palo Verde coach Darwin Rost said.
Darrion Finn had three carries for 48 yards and two touchdowns, while Parker Rost connected with Jake Ortale for a pair of touchdown passes. Ortale finished with three catches for 71 yards.
