Who's the No. 2?

Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer are back with their weekly look at high school football. In this episode, they debate how to rank Arbor View, Palo Verde, Green Valley and Liberty.

Dustin Puia completed 9 of 12 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns Friday to lead Shadow Ridge to a 27-10 victory against host Del Sol in a nonleague tilt.

J Henderson was all over the field for Shadow Ridge, finishing with a sack, two tackles for a loss and an interception on defense. Offensively, he had a 69-yard touchdown reception, and completed 2 of 2 passes for 47 yards and another score.

Cody Alfar did damage on the ground, rushing for 198 yards and a touchdown, and Melvin Johnson and Ben Triana each caught touchdowns.

Del Sol (0-4) opens Southeast League play next week against Foothill; Shadow Ridge (2-2) has two weeks to prepare for its Northwest League opener on Oct. 11 against Palo Verde.
