Two lanes along Tropicana Avenue will shut down near the Strip next week as crews prepare to reinforce barriers on the road.
The closure will run from 9 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Thursday. Crews will be pouring concrete on the street’s eastbound and westbound lanes between Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane.
The eastbound left pocket into the main entrance at MGM Grand and the left lane on westbound Tropicana at Audrie Street will be closed periodically throughout that period.
Crews will try to keep at least one turn lane open, but drivers are urged to slow down and watch for closures at the location.
