The District Attorney’s Office has charged a 30-year-old man with sex trafficking of a child and other sex offenses, according to court records.
Jonathan Tyrone Thompson, 30, is charged with six criminal counts stemming from allegations he tried to seduce an underage girl via social media, according to a Metro Police release issued today.
Detectives got a tip about Thompson on April 7 and he was arrested Monday, according to the release.
The release indicated detectives had found a second victim and were searching for more potential victims.
Las Vegas Township Judge Joseph Sciscento set Thompson’s bail at $150,000 today, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is set for May 21.
Thompson remains in Clark County Detention Center.
