Metro Police are looking for a woman who they say was involved in a shooting Wednesday at an apartment near Owens Avenue and Nellis Boulevard in the northeast valley.

Anishya Douglas, 21, was seen fleeing the crime scene, police said, and she is considered armed and dangerous.

Police received reports at 3:15 p.m. that a man had been shot at an apartment in the 1700 block of Marion Drive. The victim, who was shot several times, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Douglas had engaged in a physical altercation with the victim over money and a game of dice the day before, police said.

Douglas is 5-foot-3 and weighs 120 pounds. She has short hair, wears baggy clothing, and could possibly pass for a young male, police said.

No arrests have been made.
