A 2004 Ferrari Spider is engulfed in flames on northbound Interstate 15 near the Valley of Fire. The two passengers in the car, who were traveling back to Utah after a weekend in Las Vegas, were not injured, but the car was a total loss.

A Ferrari caught on fire this morning on northbound Interstate 15 about 5 miles south of the Valley of Fire.

Two passengers were in the 2004 Ferrari Spider heading back to Utah after a weekend in Las Vegas when they noticed smoke coming from the engine, said Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Loy Hixson.

The passengers got out of the car before it was engulfed in flames. They didn't have anything to extinguish the fire, so the car was a total loss.
