One person was hospitalized this afternoon after a vehicle hit two employees at a southwest valley car wash and left the scene, Metro Police said.
Police received a report about 1:15 p.m. of the accident near South Rainbow Boulevard and West Russell Road, Officer Laura Meltzer said.
One of the employees was transported to University Medical Center's Trauma Center with serious injuries, she said.
The person's current condition is unknown.
A description of the suspect vehicle was unavailable.
The incident remains under investigation, Meltzer said.
