North Las Vegas Police have no motive or potential suspects in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy Saturday night.
At about 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Del Rio Drive, near North Las Vegas Blvd and North Pecos Road, where they found the boy lying in the roadway, police said.
He appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
Witnesses reported that the shooter may have been in a car.
The Clark County Coroner's office will release the boy's identity once the family has been notified.
