Being a United States Senator probably makes you the most famous person in your family, right?
Not the case for Sen. Dean Heller, whose son and daughter-in-law are bona-fide Internet stars.
Over the weekend, a Vine made by Heller’s son, Harris, and musician daughter-in-law, Kenzie Nimmo, reached 6 million views and became the top trending music Vine in the world.
The couple’s six-second video cover of pop band Echosmith’s song “Cool Kids” also garnered the attention of comedian Rebel Wilson and other celebrities. (Plus a shout-out from Heller on Twitter.)
They announced in another (equally creative) Vine they’ll be putting a full-length version of their viral Vine out on iTunes and on her YouTube channel.
Heller told his son: “Well this weekend, you’re more famous than I am, that’s for sure."
