Coroner IDs woman killed in crash with garbage truck

A woman who died after her car ran into the back of a Republic Services garbage truck has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Lindsey Chantay Lewis, 29, of Henderson.

About 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Lewis’ vehicle slammed into the truck, which was stopped at a red light at the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Seven Hills Drive, according to the Henderson Police Department.

Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was not hurt.
