A man was ejected from a sport utility vehicle and killed when it rolled over on U.S. 95 this morning, authorities said.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded about 8:40 a.m. to reports that a vehicle had rolled over on U.S. 95 South and Jones Boulevard, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
A 48-year-old man driving a 1997 Ford SUV was taken to University Medical Center, where he died, police said. His name has not yet been released.
Investigators were still on the scene going through evidence and had not determined what caused the crash, Hixson said.
The patrol has closed four lanes near the crash site, leaving only the carpool lane open, Hixson said.
