A marked Metro Police patrol car and another vehicle sustained major damage in a downtown Las Vegas crash Tuesday evening, police said.
Reports of the crash at the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Stewart Avenue came in about 8:30 p.m., Lt. Mark Reddon said.
A woman ran a red light and her vehicle hit the male officer in the patrol car, Reddon said.
The officer and the woman both reported minor injuries, he said.
