Metro Police are still looking for a man who shot and killed another man Thursday night at the Sherman Garden Apartments in West Las Vegas.
The incident was reported at 7:40 p.m. at 1701 J St. near West Owens Avenue, Metro Police Lt. Barb Schmidt said.
Police found the victim, whose name has not been released, on the ground near the courtyard of the apartment complex, according to a Metro news release.
According to the release, the victim was involved in an argument with a woman when an unknown man walked over and shot the victim multiple times with a handgun.
The suspect fled on foot, and police have not yet made any arrests, according to the release.
The victim was transported to University Medical Center and pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
The death was the 92nd homicide investigated by Metro this year.
