Police in Las Vegas now say a man who punched a sports book employee during a weekend heist at the Palace Station casino-hotel may have had a gun.

Officer Laura Meltzer says witnesses reported seeing a weapon when the robber went behind a counter at the sports betting area about 10 p.m. Sunday.

Police aren't saying what was taken.

Las Vegas police released clips of security video images showing the man in his 20s or 30s at the casino-hotel off Sahara Avenue near Interstate 15.

He's wearing dark clothing, a baseball cap and latex gloves.

The casino, with about 1,000 rooms, is one of several owned and operated by Station Casinos that caters to local gamblers.
