Brenan Adams rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries today for the Green Valley High football team in a 43-6 victory against host Silverado.
Albert Lake added 128 yards and two touchdowns for the Gators, who improve to 3-1 overall.
Green Valley led 20-0 at halftime. Green Valley rushed for more than 300 yards.
“We did a good job of coming out early and getting our run game going,” Green Valley coach Brian Castro said. “We moved the football and scored some points.”
Quarterback Xavier Jarvis completed 11 of 14 passes for 131 yards for Green Valley.
The Gators are off next week before playing Basic in the annual Henderson Bowl.
