Police: Las Vegas man shot to death after fight in backyard

A man died in his backyard in the eastern valley Sunday morning after being shot multiple times, according to Metro Police.

The man was at his home in the 3700 block of Kolanut Lane, near East Tonopah Avenue and North Walnut Road, about 5:30 a.m. when an unknown male walked into the backyard, police said.

The two talked and then began to fight, police said. The suspect shot the victim several times with a handgun before leaving on foot, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead in the yard, police said. No arrests have been made.
