Metro Police evacuated houses in a northeast valley neighborhood Monday after a reported stabbing.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Ronald Lane, near Stewart Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, for a domestic dispute involving a man and a woman.
The man was armed with a kitchen knife and refused to exit his home. Officers evacuated neighbors and tried to coax the man from the home. Just before 6 p.m., the man was taken into custody, according to police.
The woman had a minor injury and was taken to Sunrise Hospital, and she was released soon after.
